The eraser was invented to cover up mistakes and to change answers you think you have gotten wrong. There are certain tests in which you can erase and change your answers or choices. There is one test where you will not be able to erase and change your answers or choices. This test is given on Judgment Day.
There are 10 simple questions with yes or no answers: (Use a #2 pencil to fill in the box for your answer)
ever lied? (includes fibs and white lies)
ever stolen ? (regardless of value)
ever dishonored your parents or EVER disobeyed them? (time will not erase sins)
ever murdered? (God sees hate as murder. Ever hated anyone? )
ever committed adultery? (ever have impure thoughts? lust is adultery of the heart; this includes sex before marriage)
ever desired something that wasn't yours?
ever taken God's name in vain?
ever failed to keep one day a week for God and kept it Holy?
Ever failed to put God first in all you do and ever failed to love God more than anything else?
ever made a god to suit yourself with your hands or mind or make a god of something in your life (something that you love way more than God)?
How did you do? Did you answer yes to any of these?
Like all of us, if you are honest and listen to your conscience, you know you will fail.
The Bible says no liar, no adulterer, no thief or those that dishonor their parents will enter into the Kingdom of God.
Will you be innocent or guilty on the Day of Judgment before God?
God does not grade on a curve. He is Holy and pure. He grades by His pure standard. We all have a failing grade; we have all broken the Ten Commandments and we deserve death in Hell.
God doesn't want you to go to Hell. He wants you to "pass from death into life." God made it possible for you to pass the final exam. He provided a way for your sins to be forgiven; that is, a way that your penalty for breaking the commandments will be paid.
He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to take your punishment. Turn from your sins and go the other way, the Bible calls this repentance. If you repent and put your trust and faith in Jesus Christ alone, God will forgive you of your sins and grant you ever-lasting life. Jesus will pay your fine (accept your punishment). In other words you might ask, "Jesus, will you take my exam?" The Bible says if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
