Well, have you broken any of the others? I have broken them all in one way or another! I am so guilty! That means eternity in hell.
Here is the Navy's prayer for Burial at Sea:
"We therefore commit the earthly remains of [Your name goes here] to the deep, looking for the general Resurrection in the last day, and the life of the world to come, through our Lord Jesus Christ; at whose second coming in glorious majesty to judge the world, the sea shall give up her dead; and the corruptible bodies of those who sleep in Him shall be changed, and made like unto His glorious body; according to the mighty working whereby He is able to subdue all things unto Himself. Amen."
How can we look forward to the Resurrection and the life to come if we are destined for hell? For we ALL have sinned is what the Bible says. But if someone takes your place and takes your punishment or pays your fine, then justice is satisfied and your free to go, like a pardon!
That's what Jesus did for you. He took your punishment for all you have done against God. He took your sins upon Himself on the cross, died, and then rose from the grave – defeating death. The Bible says: "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23) and "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13)
How do we recieve this gift from God, the gift of forgiveness for all your sins and eternal life?
Call on the Lord! Repent and confess your sins to God and place your faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone to save you. God will forgive all of your sins and then you can look forward to the "Resurrection in the last day, and the life of the world to come, through our Lord Jesus Christ".
Don't wait until tomorrow... You may not have another day.
The ONLY WAY to God is through Jesus.
Bravo Zulu! Thank you for your service!
May God reach out to you and bless you,
