Think with me. Who is the most beloved person in your life that you would never want to be separated from or that you always want to be with? Someone you love with all your heart. Maybe it is a parent or your parents, grandparents, uncle, aunt or cousin? Maybe a friend or a special loved one? Let's pretend their name is IAM for our story. IAM lives in the most beautiful place you can imagine… Paradise.
Now suppose there really is ONLY one way to get to Paradise, one path, to be with IAM? Well, IAM knew that by appearance, from where you are, it seems that you can just take any old way and get there. Would it not be loving and kind for IAM to provide the WAY to get to Paradise? Would it be good if IAM sent a guide and instructions so you could find that WAY to be with them in Paradise? That would be loving and kind!
It is a journey that will take your entire life so you must be diligent and persevere since there will be many trials, pitfalls, distractions, and appealing detours along the way. Still, it is possible to get to Paradise if you truly love IAM, really trust them, and really want to be there with IAM when all is said and done. If this sounds appealing, if this truly is your desire, you will take IAM's instructions seriously, follow the WAY he has provided, carefully with all your heart to be with IAM in Paradise.
God in His instruction book, The Bible, calls Himself "I AM" and has created the miracle of life to put you on a spiritual journey, your spiritual journey. God created us with a desire for truth, justice, peace, purpose, acceptance, and relationships with Himself and others that are satisfying and give us contentment. But all too often, we find ourselves not finding any of these things in our lives. Maybe we are going the wrong way or we are in the wrong place or we are on the wrong path.
As the great author of Pilgrim's Progress, John Bunyan, asked "Are you on the right path?" Do you want to know God and be with Him always?
Please read below to find The Way to Paradise and what can keep us from getting there.
You see most of us start out with a casual attitude about God and figure at the end of our days (way way way in the future) if He exists at all, He will in no way find any real fault with us and even be happy to have me in His Paradise because I am a good person. I am not perfect but I do the best I can so surely I will be ok and get in. And there is a ton of people way worse than I am.
We don't take His instructions to get to Paradise seriously. We try to find, what we feel, are easier ways to Paradise or ways we prefer (our own way) and God will meet us there (this is a god of our own mind and not the God of the Bible). This casual attitude and reliance on one's own goodness or by creating a preferred method with the rule we think we can keep will get us into trouble and off on the wrong path.
Do you want to go to Paradise and be with God one day? Are you good enough to get to Paradise or Heaven? Let's see. Stay with me, this may get a little rough, but like a compass, this will help you find the WAY.
Click Below and Examine what God's word says as the WAY to Paradise.
Of all the questions you will ask yourself in life, the most important is, Am I good enough to go to Heaven? The answer to that question will have eternal consequences. The way to find out is to ask yourself if you have obeyed God's standard of goodness, the Ten Commandments. Most would say, "Well, I've broken one or two, but nothing too serious, like murder, etc." So, let's go through them and see how you do:
1. YOU SHALL HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME.
Is God first in your life? Do you love God above all else? Imagine you purchased a TV for your children, but the next evening you arrived home from work and found that they didn't even bother to greet you. They were too busy watching television. By ignoring you because they preferred to watch TV, they were setting their love on the gift rather than the giver, a wrong order of affection. In the same way, if we love anything - our spouse, our children, or even our own lives-more than we love God, we are setting our affection on the gift rather than the Giver, which is a transgression of the First Commandment. In fact, the Bible says that we should love God so much that our love for our family should seem like hatred compared to the love we have for the God who gave those loved ones to us.
Have you loved God with all your heart? If not, you have committed the oldest sin in the Book. You be the judge. On Judgment Day, will you be innocent or guilty of breaking that Commandment? I'm not judging you - I'm asking you to judge yourself before the Day of Judgment.
2. YOU SHALL NOT MAKE FOR YOURSELF ANY GRAVEN IMAGE.
This means that we shouldn't make a god to suit ourselves, either with our hands or with our minds. Have you made a god in your mind that you're comfortable with where you say, "My god is a loving god who would never send anyone to Hell"? Perhaps your god doesn't mind a "white" lie or fib here and there - in fact, he doesn't have any moral dictates. In reality, that god doesn't exist; he's a figment of your imagination. If your god is not the One revealed in Holy Scripture, then you have made an image of God to suit yourself, something the Bible calls idolatry. Scripture warns that no idolater will enter the kingdom of Heaven (1 Cor. 6:9).
3. YOU SHALL NOT TAKE THE NAME OF THE LORD YOUR GOD IN VAIN.
Have you ever taken God's name in vain-using it flippantly, like "OMG," or in place of a four-letter word to express disgust? Even Hitler's name wasn't despised enough to be used as a curse word. If you have taken the holy name of the God who gave you life and used it in that manner, that's called blasphemy, and the Bible says, "The LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain" (Ex. 20:7).
4. REMEMBER THE SABBATH DAY, TO KEEP IT HOLY.
I ignored this command for 22 years. Even though God gave me the gift of life, I didn't give Him one day in seven. I was guilty of breaking this Commandment.
5. HONOR YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER.
Have you always honored your parents implicitly, treating them in a way that's pleasing to God? This doesn't mean you honor them only if you think they are good parents. We are to respect and obey them just because they are our parents. Ask God to remind you of the sins of your youth. You may have forgotten them, but God hasn't.
The Bible warns that if we are angry at someone without cause we are in danger of judgment, and that "whoever hates his brother is a murderer" (1 John 3:15). We can violate God's Law by our attitude and intent. Have you broken this Commandment by harboring anger or hatred toward someone? If so, God sees you as guilty of murder, and "no murderer has eternal life abiding in him."
7. YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY.
Who of us can say that we are pure of heart? Jesus warned, "Whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart" (Matt. 5:28). God has seen every thought you have had and every sin you have ever committed. The day will come when you will have to face His Law, and we are told that the impure, fornicators (those who have sex before marriage), and adulterers will not enter the kingdom of God (1 Cor. 6:9,10).
Have you ever taken something that didn't belong to you, regardless of its value? This includes stealing an answer on a test, taking a pen from work, and even keeping extra change that you know isn't rightfully yours. If you've taken anything that isn't yours, then you are a thief and you cannot enter God's kingdom (1 Cor. 6:9,10).
9. YOU SHALL NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS.
Have you ever told a lie? Then that would make you a liar. You may not think deceitfulness is a serious sin, but God does. "Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord" (Prov. 12:22), because He is a God of truth and holiness. The Bible warns that all liars will have their part in the Lake of Fire (Rev. 21:8).
Have you ever coveted (jealously desired) anything that belongs to another person? That's a violation of the Tenth Commandment, and the covetous will not inherit the kingdom of God (Eph. 5:5).
Who of us can say we are not guilty of breaking these Commandments? All of us have sinned, and just as with man's law, you only have to break one law to be guilty. The Bible warns, "For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all" (James 2:10).
A little girl was once watching sheep grazing and thought how white they looked against the green background. But when it began to snow she thought, "The sheep now look dirty against the white snow!" It was the same sheep, but with a different background. When we compare ourselves to man's standard we look pretty clean, but when we compare ourselves to the pure snow-white righteousness of God's standard, His moral Law, we can see ourselves in truth: that we are unclean in His sight. The Bible says it is appointed for men to die once and then face judgment, and that Law is the holy standard by which humanity will be judged on Judgment Day.
To be good enough to go to Heaven, we must be perfect in thought, word, and deed. So on the Day of Judgment, will you be innocent or guilty of breaking God's Law? You know you will be guilty. This may sound strange, but the worst thing you could do at this point is to try to clean up your lifestyle; you may realize that you have sinned and think that from now on you will keep the Ten Commandments, do good deeds, say the right things, and think only pure thoughts. But should a judge let a murderer go because he says he will now live a good life? No; the criminal is in debt to justice and therefore must be punished.
Perhaps you think that God is good and will therefore overlook your sins. But if you were guilty of terrible crimes in a civil court and said to the judge, "Judge, I am guilty but I believe you are a good man and will therefore overlook my crimes," the judge would probably respond by saying, "You are right about one thing; I am a good man, and it's because of my goodness that I am going to see that justice is done, that you are punished for your crimes." The very thing that many people are hoping will save them on Judgment Day, God's goodness, will be the very thing that will condemn them. If God is good, He must punish murderers, liars, thieves, etc., and God's place of punishment is the "prison" of Hell.
What a terrible place Hell must be! If you hear that a man received a $5 fine for a crime, you could conclude that his crime was insignificant. But if he received the death sentence, you could conclude that his crime was heinous. In the same way, we can catch a glimpse of how abominable sin must be in the sight of an utterly holy God by the punishment given for it: "The wages of sin is death" (Rom. 6:23) and eternity in Hell. Ungrateful humanity never bothers to thank God for His wonderful blessings of life, color, light, food, joy, beauty, love, and laughter, so He will take those blessings away from them. Instead of showing their gratitude by obeying Him, they use His name to curse. Their punishment will be just and severe to the uttermost. According to the Bible, Hell is a place of eternal, conscious torment, where the "worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched"; there is "weeping and gnashing of teeth," "everlasting punishment," and "eternal fire . . . the blackness of darkness forever."
I am afraid for you, but I am not the only one who doesn't want you to end up in Hell. The person who gave you this tract cared enough to give it to you and risk rejection, and God Himself is not willing that you perish. Because God is rich in mercy, He made a way for you to be forgiven. To make clear what an incredible thing He has done for you, let's look again to civil law: You are standing in front of a judge, guilty of very serious crimes. All the evidence has been presented and there is no doubt about your guilt. The fine for your crime is $1,000,000 or life imprisonment, but you haven't two pennies to rub together. The judge is about to pass sentence . . . he lifts his gavel, when someone you don't even know steps in and pays the fine for you. Justice has been served, the law has been satisfied, and you are now free to go. What's more, the one who paid your fine showed how much he cares for you. His payment was evidence of his love.
That's what God did for you, 2,000 years ago. He sent His Son, Jesus of Nazareth, to pay your death penalty in your place. Jesus died on the cross on your behalf, so that you could live. You are guilty; He paid the fine. It is that simple. The Bible puts it this way: "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us . . . But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Gal. 3:13; Rom. 5:8).
It was no small thing for Jesus to die for us. The only thing that would satisfy the demands of Eternal Law was the shed blood of the sinless Son of God. What love God must have for you! Jesus suffered unspeakable agony, so that you wouldn't have to be punished for your sins. Then three days later He arose from the dead, defeating death. His sacrificial death and resurrection mean that you need no longer be in debt to the Law, and God can now grant you everlasting life if you obey the gospel.
What should you then do? Simply repent (turn from your sins) and put your trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. Don't put it off; you may not have tomorrow - 150,000 people die every 24 hours. Would you sell an eye for a million dollars? How about both for $20 million? No one in his right mind would. Your eyes are priceless to you, yet they are merely the windows of your soul. Your life (your soul) is of such value that Jesus said that you should despise the value of your eye in comparison. He said that if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you, for it is better to enter Heaven blind, than to go to Hell with both eyes. In other words, of all the things that you should prioritize in your life, it's not your health, your vocation, etc. - it's your eternal salvation.
Can you see your predicament? You are guilty of sinning against God Himself, and because He has given you a conscience, you know right from wrong. "Conscience" means "with knowledge," so isn't it true that every time you lied, stole, etc., you did it with the knowledge that it was wrong?
Does the fact that you have sinned against God scare you? It should. You have actually angered Him by your sin. The Bible says His wrath abides on you, that you are an enemy of God in your mind through wicked works. But let fear work for your good, in the same way that a fear of jumping out of a plane mid-flight would make you put on a parachute. Let your will to live open your heart to the gospel of salvation.
Think of a man who has committed adultery. His faithful wife is more than willing to take him back, so what is the attitude with which he should approach her? It should be one of tremendous humility, asking for forgiveness, and determining in his heart never to even think of committing adultery again. That's how you should approach God. If you are not sure how to pray, read Psalm 51 and make it your prayer. Turn from your sins and put your faith in Jesus Christ in the same way you would put your faith in a parachute to save you. You don't just "believe" it will benefit you, you actually entrust your life to it by putting it on. The Bible says, "Put on the Lord Jesus Christ" (Rom. 13:14). When you do that, God will forgive every sin you've ever committed and grant you the gift of eternal life. Then read the Bible daily and obey what you read.

One day we will stand before almighty God in judgment. If you read above or watch the video Are You a Good Person, you realize that you and I have broken God's Holy Law multiple times, even to the extent and sometimes BROKEN THEM REALLY BAD. We have all sinned and are on our way to Eternal Punishment or Hell which we rightly deserve (if you don't feel this way re-read Are You a Good Person). We have been to Sin City, maybe we are even camped out there, and we need a fine payer, someone to pay our fine to get us out of God's courtroom, a WAY to be set free, escape the punishment we deserve, and ultimately be reconciled or put on good terms with God and reach Paradise. We may be living in Sin City and need to be ransomed out! He knows where you are, he knows your past, your motives, and your all your sins. Nothing will be hidden from Him.
Here is our situation as stated in God's Word:
Isaiah 59:2 It’s your sins that have cut you off from God. Because of your sins, He has turned away and will not listen anymore.
Isaiah 59:12 For our sins are piled up before God and testify against us. Yes, we know what sinners we are. (I know I am a sinner!)
Isaiah 64:6 We are all infected and impure with sin. When we display our righteous deeds, they are nothing but filthy rags. Like autumn leaves, we wither and fall, and our sins sweep us away like the wind.
Romans 3:23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.
The Bible describes the WAY to be reconciled to God and to be set free from that deserved punishment. God was kind enough to provide us a WAY out of this mess.
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. (Mark 10:45) . (give His life even for someone like me!)
Read next The One WAY God has provided....
God provided THE WAY, the guide that will lead us to Paradise! Simply put, if we turn from our own way or other ways to find God and follow the instructions of the Bible, that is, turn from our sin (that is repent) and put our trust (our faith or BELIEF) in Jesus Christ and follow Him alone, He will save us and lead us right to God in Paradise. This is Eternal Life or everlasting life with God through Christ. This is being born again (John 3:3), a true Christian. In the book of Acts from the Bible, early Christians were also known as "followers of the Way" (Acts 9:2 and 22:4-5).
Repent + Follow Jesus Christ = Forgiveness of All Sins + The WAY to Paradise
Right to the Source: Jesus himself said this: (documented in the Bible John 14:6) Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me."
Let me highlight a few words ...Jesus says, "I am THE WAY, the truth, and the life. NO ONE CAN COME TO THE FATHER (GOD) except THROUGH ME. (Jesus)" We must figure out what to do with this statement. Is Jesus honest and true? If so, he claims that He is the ONLY WAY to GOD and that NO ONE can get to GOD {to Paradise} except by this ONE WAY, Jesus.
Here are other verses. Remember the Bible claims that it is the Word of God and contains the WORD of Life. I will highlight the words that impress me to this point that Jesus is the ONE WAY to Paradise and GOD, the WAY our sins can be forgiven and that we can be reconciled to the Creator and Judge of the Universe the Great I AM. Do you want your sins forgiven? Do you want to get Paradise?
John 8:24 That is why I said that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am who I claim to be, you will die in your sins.” (die in your sins is not good)
This One WAY, this Good News is concisely stated yet again here in 1 Corinthians 15. Paul states in verse two "It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe..." and continuing in verses 3 - 6 "... Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said. He was seen by Peter and then by the Twelve. After that, he was seen by more than 500 of his followers at one time" (Eyewitness account to Jesus' resurrection! Eyewitness testimony!)
John 1:1-2 & 14 In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. 14 So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness." So here is the claim, Jesus, also known as the WORD became human.
John 3:16 (one of the most quoted verses in the Bible. Here are verses 16-18) Jesus Speaking of himself "16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish [ destruction and eternal punishment ] but have eternal life [with God in Paradise/Heaven]. 17 God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him [Jesus]. 18 “There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him [Jesus]. But anyone who does not believe in him [Jesus] has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son."
So what does it mean to believe? To go His Way! Repent, turn from your own ways and your sins to get to God and put your faith and trust in Jesus as your WAY, the ONLY WAY, to have forgiveness of sins and be reconciled to God.
Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.” ONE WAY? Yes!
One Mediator: 1 Timothy 2:5 " There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus." ONE WAY!
Philippians 2:9-11 Therefore, God elevated him [Jesus} to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
In John 3:3 Jesus says, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.” You are Born Again when you repent and follow Christ.
Acts 20:21 Paul said it this way: "I have had one message for Jews and Greeks alike—the necessity of repenting from sin and turning to God, and of having faith in our Lord Jesus.
Can it be any clearer? God has been very kind to us to preserve His Word in the Bible and let us know, let YOU know, the WAY to have our sins forgiven and that we can be with Him in Paradise. That is kind.
Many things in life may or will keep us from committing to follow Christ. It may not be a purposeful rejection or "I HATE GOD" type of rebellion towards God, but we are content where we are, without any consideration of God and His WAY. We are making our own way, living life our own way without God. Maybe we throw up a prayer once in a while, we may even make a deal with God, but quickly forget our side of the bargain.
Life here provides enough hobbies, entertainment, work, and relationships to consume our lives that we often do not see a need to know God, EXCEPT, to know that our eternal destiny is at stake. Where will you spend eternity? in Paradise or hell? Overall things here are pretty good, why do I need to complicate my life with a bunch of religious rules (especially having to go to church and be with those Christians)? Remember if we really desire to be with God, we will want to follow His instructions to get to Paradise, right?
Proverbs 16:2 People may be pure in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their motives.
Proverbs 30:12 There is a generation that is pure in its own eyes, Yet is not washed from its filthiness.
Three Common mistakes or views:
a) God grades on a scale: we see or imagine other people far worse than we are, so we will be ok with God. God doesn't save you if your attitude is "Hey there are way worse people than me." It is the humble heart that says "What I have done is way evil in your sight. I am sorry PLEASE forgive me!"
b) My God will just overlook my sins. God will forgive me on MY terms. (this is a god of your imagination, not the True God of the Bible)
c) I will wait until I am ready or on my death bed and pray at the last second: You enjoy the sinful life you are living too much and don't want to face God now BUT think "I sure don't want to go to hell. " (You really don't love God with all your heart, mind and soul. God knows your heart. If you don't love Him, He won't force you to go to Paradise to be with Him forever.)
With these attitudes, you will end up in spiritual death, destruction, eternal punishment, and separation from God in hell for eternity.
Luke 9:23 Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me." A daily walk. Not casual and not once in a while cry for help.
Acts 20:21 Paul said it this way: "I have had one message for Jews and Greeks alike (for you all) —the necessity of repenting from sin and turning to God, and of having faith in our Lord Jesus.
Romans 10 For they don’t understand God’s way of making people right with himself. Refusing to accept God’s way, they cling to their own way of getting right with God by trying to keep the law (trying to be good). 4 For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result, all who believe in him are made right with God.
If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Rather than trust God at His Word and trust Jesus whom He sent, we try:
Other religions or belief systems:
Belief systems with no rules, easy rules, or rules we prefer and think we can keep
Belief system where certain rule-breaking is acceptable or will be overlooked (especially the rules I like to break)
Belief system where I maintain a religious checklist that (man made rules) guarantees a trip to paradise without following Jesus Christ
Belief systems that "Makes sense to me" or "I like the sound of that" or "I can do that!"
Any belief system that is void of Jesus and God of the Bible. (atheism or agnostic or "higher power" or "man upstairs")
The Bible says "There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death." Proverbs 14:12
Jesus says in Matthew 7 “You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it." In John 10 Jesus says "I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved..."
Remember Jesus' claim in John 14 with my emphasis: "I am THE WAY, the truth, and the life. NO ONE CAN COME TO THE FATHER (GOD) except THROUGH ME." We must figure out what to do with this statement. Is Jesus honest and true? If so, he claims that He is the ONLY WAY to GOD and that NO ONE can get to GOD {to Paradise} except by this ONE WAY, Jesus.
All these other ways are NOT the One WAY to Paradise.
Life can be full of distractions, especially in this electronic, entertainment age we live in. God has provided life with many great things and has given us freedom and choice. What will we do with this freedom? Remember where are we headed? What is our goal? What are our priorities? The Bible gives us guidance
Matthew 22:37 Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind."
Luke 9:62 But Jesus told him, “Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God.”
Matthew 6:20-21 "Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be."
If you truly love God and Christ, you will examine the desires of your heart. Where do you spend your time and your efforts?
"For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him." Philippians 2:13
Ask God for this desire in your heart and life.
Jesus Christ Alone -Nothing Else
People like accomplishment. People want to say "I did this!" or "I did that!" or "I GOT THIS!" This is pride. This is people seeking achievement. Or it can be "Just give me the checklist or tell me what I CAN DO to go to heaven."
Jesus does not need your help or accomplishment. Jesus wants your humbled heart to rely on and follow Him. In Luke 9:23, Jesus is speaking "Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me." He also said documented in Matthew 22:37, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’
Groups are claiming to be Christian, but they are adding (as if to help Jesus) to the Bible with other books, publications, and rules, that get you relying on yourself, a certain church, or a certain other person (some will call them prophets) to save your soul. You can't trust any church, person, teaching, or book more than Jesus and the Bible He Authored.
Get on the Right Path, The ONE WAY - The short cut
If you skipped everything else on this page (though, I encourage you to go back and read it) but need Christ and want to follow Him right now, KNOW THIS...
The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 15. Paul states in verse 2 "It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe..." "... Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day.
This Jesus is the One WAY to God and Paradise. The Bible says in Romans "If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
I realize this is a gigantic leap of supernatural faith to believe Jesus is the ONE and ONLY WAY to GOD ALMIGHTY. However, this supernatural claim was backed up by a supernatural event of God raising Jesus from the dead as prophesied (predicted hundreds and thousands of years before) in the Bible and is evidence of the proof, truth, and reliability of the Bible and Jesus as that WAY. Will you trust God, the Bible, and Jesus? I did! Your sins can be forgiven and you can be in a right relationship, placed in a right standing with God.
It is not a multiple-choice test: What way do I take to get to Paradise?
e) Christianity < hint-------
or g) I will make my own way
It is either True or False: Is Jesus the Only WAY to God and Paradise as Jesus claims in His Word? Yes He is!
It is True! Follow Him!
Staying in the WAY and on the right path
I mentioned before, being saved by Jesus (choosing to follow Him, becoming a Christian, being Born Again) does not make you SinLess but you should sin LESS. God through Christ will change you. God will conform you into the image of His Son (this is called sanctification). You will experience temptations (that is not sin) but when you do sin (and you will) follow God and His Word...the Bible says in 1 John 1:8-10 "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us."
This is why it is called the Gospel - The Good News! Repent, turn from your sins and confess your sins to God! Humble yourself again and get close to God through Christ AGAIN! He will forgive your sins through faith and belief and trust. Ask for increased faith in Christ. Read your Bible more and trust His promises.
He is a good and great God - He is The GREAT I AM!
Which one are You? The scoffer or one that wants to be with Jesus?
Eyewitness accounts recorded in Luke 23, tell us there were two thieves crucified with Christ, one on His right and one on His left.
In verse 39 it says .... One of the criminals hanging beside him scoffed, “So you’re the Messiah, are you? Prove it by saving yourself—and us, too, while you’re at it!” But the other criminal protested, “Don’t you fear God even when you have been sentenced to die? We deserve to die for our crimes, but this man hasn’t done anything wrong.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom.”
And to the one who humbled himself and feared God (believed in Him) Jesus replied,
“I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise.”
Call on the name of the Lord "Lord Jesus, Please take me to Paradise, please!"
Decision Time - Make a Choice
Consider the path you are on.
Do you need to change direction? You need to make a Choice to follow Jesus....
“If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me. Luke 9:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13
You must call on the Lord and choose to actively receive the gift of eternal life by choosing to follow the WAY Jesus Christ the only ONE that can save you from the wrath to come.
Ask God if He wants you to change direction today.
