Hear my cry, my LORD, please! God's word moving me into prayer... my words in green
4 I will Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will Rejoice!
6 I will Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, I will let my requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard my heart and mind through Christ Jesus.
11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:
John 14:1 Jesus said to us...
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
God is my refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore I will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah
4 There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High. 5 God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved;
God shall help her, just at the break of dawn. 6 The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted. 7 The Lord of hosts is with me; The God of Jacob is my refuge. Selah
8 Come, behold the works of the Lord, Who has made desolations in the earth. 9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire.
10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! Yes, you will my LORD!!
11 The Lord of hosts is with me; The God of Jacob is my refuge. Selah
6 Therefore humble myself under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt me in due time,
7 casting all my cares upon Him, for He cares for me.
8 I will be sober, be vigilant; because my adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 I will Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by my brotherhood in the world. 10 But may the God of all grace, who called me to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after I have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
11 To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
16 I will Rejoice always, 17 I will pray without ceasing, 18 in everything I will give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for me.
23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify me completely; and may my whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 He who calls me is faithful, who also will do it.
16 Come and hear, all you who fear God,
And I will declare what He has done for my soul.
17 I cried to Him with my mouth,
And He was extolled with my tongue. [praise enthusiastically]
18 If I regard iniquity in my heart,
19 But certainly God has heard me;
He has attended to the voice of my prayer.
Who has not turned away my prayer,
Nor His mercy from me! Thank you my LORD!
Help me remember Romans 12:10-12 10 I should Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. 11 I should Never be lazy, but work hard and serve my Lord enthusiastically. 12 To Rejoice in our confident hope. To Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.
To You be all Glory, my LORD!
Your Servant,
Mark OnMission
